Harbin_Hotel005

Main Annex, circa 1938

The Main Annex replaced the old Capitol hotel and was new when this picture was taken around 1938. The postcard, sent June 5, 1956 to "The Andersons" of Minneapolis Minnesota, reads, "Dear Folks, We are at Harbin Hot Springs about 100 miles north from Oakland. We have been taking hot sulfur water baths which are just grand! We are having a nice time - eat, sleep & baths. It is very quiet here which we enjoy. Lill & Carl"
